Description

Stocker Subaru is a fast-growing, locally owned company that offers a full range of Automotive services to Clients. A Title Clerk will perform a variety of administrative tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of our office.

Job Duties:

  • A Title Clerk is responsible for processing new and used vehicle sales transactions, verifying information for the accounting department, and preparing legal transfer documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles
  • A Title Clerk is responsible for pointing out deficiencies in title work and notifying the Director of Sales.
  • The showroom and the Title Clerk are one team – as vehicles are sold, the sales associates depend on the Title Clerk to help them remain compliant.
  • A Title Clerk must be diligent at following up on issues and open to finding alternative solutions to resolve problems.
  • A Title Clerk must maintain an efficient filing system by filing documents in their proper locations.
  • This position may also assist with other office duties such as warranty administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other clerical items when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have the following:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of automotive title work experience
  • Motivated team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must

Experience:

  • Automotive title processing: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Certified Notary Public (Preferred)
