Stock Yards Bank Trust is Hiring a CONSUMER REAL ESTATE COMPLIANCE PROCESSOR Near Louisville, KY

As a Consumer Real Estate Compliance Processor, you are responsible for the monitoring of initial loan disclosure and re-disclosures as well as monitoring for proper ECOA timing for withdraws and denials. The ideal candidate will be able to adhere to regulatory standards while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Monitor, create and/or deliver all necessary disclosures – initial and updated – within regulatory timeframes as required, but not limited to, Regulation B and Regulation Z
  • Obtain title and recording fee quotes on properties located outside of primary lending area as requested
  • Monitor and update Loan Origination System with disclosure mailing information as required
  • Monitor prequalifications and applications for Regulation B timing and completed application status as required by ECOA
  • Process Notice of Incompleteness letters to borrowers as needed to meet compliance requirements
  • Process and review withdraws and denials for accuracy and send denial letters to borrowers
  • Review HMDA reports monthly to ensure accuracy of the HMDA data prior to Bank compliance review
  • Review fees paid on denials and withdraws and ensure fees are transferred or expensed properly
  • Assist with other mortgage areas as needed

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • General banking specific to loan processing is required
  • High level of organization and attention to accuracy and detail is required
  • Excellent communication skills required, must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with both lending personnel and bank customers
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to meet compliance deadlines
  • Experience with consumer regulatory compliance preferred
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Experience with lending software preferred
