Stock Custom Homes is Hiring a Construction Coordinator Near Naples, FL

Job Summary:

The Construction Coordinator will help the organization to permit homes in an efficient manner, support field personnel and office staff. This role works in close coordination with all members of the Stock Custom Homes team.

The Construction Coordinator will become proficient in permitting in various municipalities, utility companies, and ARB submissions. The Construction Coordinator is responsible for using their knowledge of permitting and software programs to help the teams maximize productivity and communication.

The Construction Coordinator will work closely with all members of the Stock Custom Homes Department and related departments at job startup and completion.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· The Construction Coordinator will complete permit applications, review permit documents and applications to verify accuracy and completeness of information prior to submission for multiple municipalities.

· Processes permit applications, track throughout the review process, update estimating tracker.

· Maintain and update permit tracker, municipality permit binders, and Buildertrend with permit documents and permit information

· Prepare and submit ARB applications, gather necessary documentation for submittal. Closeout with ARB when construction is complete.

· Assist field staff with inspections, revisions, utilities, submit final documents for CO.

· Assist in Notice of Commencement creation and filing.

· Front desk reception – pleasantly greet visitors and inform team members of visitor’s arrival

· Maintain a neat and organized reception area

· Receive packages and deliver to appropriate team member, retrieve mail from mail room, review and distribute

· Maintain an awareness of client visits and meetings and have conference room prepared in advance.

· After meetings, ensure conference room is tidied up including straightening chairs, remove any food/beverages or samples left behind, wipe down conference table.

· Attend meetings as required, take notes and prepare draft meeting minutes

· Coordinates maintenance of office equipment, cleaning and repairs.

· Orders and stocks office supplies

· Orders refreshments and stocks reception area and conference room

· Collates marketing brochures

· Assist in planning and coordinating events held in the office

· Prepares outgoing packages and mail

· Create/build new jobs in FAST/FAST Sales; enter change orders into FAST Sales

· Establish utility accounts, schedule installation.

· Create warranty binders at job completion.

· Print Buildertrend variance reports for each job at the beginning of each month and distribute to President and regional management teams

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to review, interpret and explain written documents

· Time Management Skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

· Ability to work well in a team setting and also independently

Education and Experience:

Construction Coordinator must have a high school diploma, GED, or at least three years’ working experience in a related field.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
