Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at the STLHD Retail Store!
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and demonstrate features and benefits
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using a cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of fishing is a bonus!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing customer needs
- Basic math skills for cash handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
