We are looking for candidates with expertise in both information technology and business administration for the role of IT Business Analyst. IT business analysts are responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of data analysis and project management. (This role is for an IT Business Analyst who will be assigned to Software Development projects.)
Requirement Gathering: Business Analysts work closely with stakeholders, including customers and partners, product managers, and subject matter experts, to gather and document business requirements for projects, systems, or processes.
Analysis: analyze data, workflows, and processes to understand the current state of the business and identify areas for improvement or enhancement.
Stakeholder Management: They act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and expectations on both sides.
Continuous Improvement: They monitor the implementation of solutions and gather feedback to continuously improve processes and systems.
Training and Support: They may provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of new systems or processes.
Industry Knowledge: Business Analysts stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations for business improvements.
