STL is Hiring a Help Desk Specialist Near Bloomington, IL

IT Support Analyst

STL is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires on site work at multiple client sites. We offer competitive salary, benefits (health, dental, vision, FSA, 401k), paid time off, and growth and advancement opportunities for the duration of your employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide 1st-level and some 2nd-level support.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Travel to and from client sites to perform basic IT support

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a background in IT or related field.
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments.
  • Basic experience with monitoring systems.
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Basic experience with virtualization very helpful.
  • Basic experience with automation software is a plus.

JOB DETAILS:

  • Open to entry level IT candidates and new grads
  • On site work is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
