HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
St Louis Composting, producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends, is accepting applications for future consideration for a Diesel Mechanic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, repair, adjust and/or replace defective or worn equipment components.
- Cleaning, lubricating, inspecting and conducting routine services
- Orders parts, communicates status and annotates corrective actions
- Comfortable working in a sometimes fast paced environment while maintaining flexibility.
- Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for each task
- Performing major repair work when required
- Must present a neat and professional appearance
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Possesses a valid US driver's license and your own tools (Specialty tools provided)
- Experience repairing Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo equipment to include wheeled loaders, and tracked equipment.
- 2 years of experience with stick welding & wire welding and fabrication
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Experience with grinders, screeners and conveyors is a plus.
