Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Handle phone calls and reservations with professionalism and accuracy

Skills:
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Square POS system & OpenTable or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Familiarity with guest relations principles and practices
- Proficient phone etiquette and ability to handle customer inquiries effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently
- Ability to work well as part of a team
