Success Profile

• Expertise in managing network design and growth, particularly within an Internet Service Provider environment.
• Consistent track record of meeting and surpassing network Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Proficiency in providing Tier III support for customer service call tickets in an ISP setting.
• Experience in offering direction on audits and executing network projects effectively.
• Competency in IP address management and accounting within an ISP framework.
• Diligent maintenance of network documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility.
• Skilled in monitoring and maintaining network mapping systems for accurate representation.
• Commitment to adhering to company rules and regulations, prioritizing network integrity and security.
• Ability to support network technicians effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in discerning customer needs and offering relevant advice or recommendations.
• Willingness to periodically assist the team with climbing towers for maintenance or installation tasks.
• Capability to program core networking equipment and radio equipment for optimal performance.

Necessary Skills

• Proven track record of trustworthiness and reliability in previous roles, preferably within an ISP or related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of network design principles, including advanced routing technologies commonly employed by ISPs.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with heights, including the ability to climb ladders and perform tasks on rooftops and tower locations.
• Strong command of English and technical terminology, facilitating effective communication with clients.
• Availability for after-hours support and handling emergency outages when necessary.
• Willingness to travel to network locations as required.
• Ability to thrive in a casual work environment, fostering camaraderie and enjoyment among colleagues.

Education and Experience

• While not mandatory, certifications or post-secondary education in IT-related fields such as CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, or equivalent work experience would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in networking
• Must have experience in a senior networking position at an ISP or similar environment.

Location

• You must currently reside in one of the following states: Nevada, California, New Mexico, Missouri, Oregon or Washington
• The position is primarily remote, but there is an expectation of onsite visits to each service location at least quarterly.
