Position: Construction and Installation Technician

Responsibilities and required experience

• Responsibilities:
• Execute construction and installation tasks for Stiltz products.
• Undertake basic installation projects, parimarilly those involving installations through the floor.
• Collaborate with the construction manager on some of our more challenging assignments.
• Workspace Setup:
• Ensure proper setup of workspaces with adequate wall and floor protection.
• Proficiently cut drywall and set up shoring posts as necessary.
• Technical Skills:
• Capability to reroute venting, plumbing, gas, and handle high and low voltage electrical work.
• Framing experience is required.
• Ability to rehang drywall, tape, and mud.
• Experience in matching texture and paint is a valuable skillset.
• Preference for individuals with electrical experience, including the ability to run 220.
• Majority of the work involves a 4-5 day commitment.
• Elevator Installation Assistance:
• Willingness to assist with elevator installation, with training provided.
• Elevator installation typically takes two days.
• Certification:
• After six months of employment, candidates will be required to obtain Stiltz Certification (a mandatory requirement for unsupervised Stiltz product installations.)
• Certification process includes a paid trip to Pennsylvania for three nights,
