Site-based Program Facilitator 1.0 FTE
Stillwater Middle School

Position Purpose: the Special Education Program Facilitator will work closely with all teachers and related service providers within the site-based program coordinate a variety of day-to-day supports for students and teachers within the program. Below is a list of responsibilities. These are subject to change or expand based on the needs of this program. If changes or expansion of the role is needed, it will be directed by the Student Services Department in consultation with the Building Principal with input from all certified staff aligned to support the CIP/EBD/DCD program.

Program Facilitator

Partner on master scheduling
- teacher schedules
- para schedules
- student/inclusion scheduling
Co-facilitate Child Study Meetings with School Psych.
Serve as Local Education Rep/Admin Designee on IEP Meetings
Plan building-wide and/or site-specific PD related to Special Education programming/students on the spectrum/EBD/DCD
Train paraprofessionals in partnership with the site based programs teachers
Support within CIP/ASD/DCD Program and across building with development of:
- SPED Interventions
- Progress Monitoring Tools
Develop meaningful & sustainable inclusion models for CIP/DCD/EBD students and other high needs students in SPED
Serve as a district-wide consult for students who are in pre-referral to CIP /EBD/DCD sitebased program
Support day to day needs of CIP/DCD/EBD program
- Additional push in support
- Behavior Intervention & De-escalation
- Facilitate small groups/direct instruction as outlined in program schedule

Qualifications Profile

License in Special Education required; ASD/EBD and/or DCD License strongly preferred
Experience with centerbased/sitebased ASD/EBD/DCD programming
