What We Offer:

Pay Range:

• $ 18.00 – 21.00 hourly *Starting wage for this position is in the 25th percentile of the range.

Paid Time off (PTO):

• Less than 1 year: 1 hr. / every 40 hours
• 1-2 years: 10 days (80 hours)
• 3 years: 15 days (120 hours)

What we Expect: 

Overview:

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operations of our facility by flexibly transitioning between the woodshop, shipping & receiving department, and handling janitorial duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of adapting to different tasks and environments efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Woodshop:

- Assist in the production of window components.

- Operate woodworking machinery and tools under supervision.

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Shipping & Receiving:

- Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labeling.

- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying accuracy against invoices or packing lists.

- Maintain organized storage areas and conduct periodic inventory checks.

Janitorial Duties:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.

- Empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and ensure cleanliness standards are met.

- Monitor and restock janitorial supplies.

General Duties:

- Provide support in other departments as needed, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or related field is a plus.

- Ability to operate woodworking machinery and tools safely (training will be provided).

- Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
