About You

This individual will acquire samples for and assist in the inspection and testing of parts and units to assure that the quality of product, parts, or materials meets all standards of acceptability.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs routine data input, verification, and report generation utilizing existing data processing equipment.
  • Performs tests, measurements, and analysis of parts, assemblies, and assembled or purchased product.
  • Provides technical assistance to other departments.
  • Secures corrective action as required.
  • Acquires, develops, and maintains technical data and records to assure compliance with company protocol, departmental procedures, and standards.
  • Acquires and returns samples for testing from the assembly lines and warehouses.
  • All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed.

Specifications

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • 1 year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Frequent standing, occasional walking or sitting; using of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
