Stifel is Hiring a System Engineer II Near Saint Louis, MO

Summary

The Systems Engineer II is a SharePoint administrator who can manage and maintain our SharePoint environment, including SharePoint 2016, 2019, and cloud versions. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and configuring SharePoint sites, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues. Microsoft Teams and OneDrive experience are a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and update SharePoint servers and services
  • Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance, availability, and security
  • Create and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions
  • Migrate SharePoint Data between farms
  • Provide technical support and training to SharePoint users and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure SharePoint integration and compatibility
  • Implement and enforce SharePoint policies and best practices
  • Keep abreast of SharePoint developments and trends
  • Creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and communicate with teams to come up with solutions
  • Cross train teams on run books and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ensuring that an organization is operating at maximum efficiency, from manufacturing to distribution
  • Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as, vendors, management, IT staff and other Stifel associates during the creation and maintenance of a system
  • Working with other parts of O365 when needed.

Qualifications

  • Develop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issues
  • Ability to think outside the box; imagine innovative effective solutions and designs
  • Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience required
  • 4 years' experience in System Administration required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server
  • Office 365 messaging engineer/admin experience
  • Experience with DMARC & Spam within messaging administration
  • Strong Understanding of SharePoint and SharePoint Online
