Summary

Stifel is looking for a part-time, Cashier / Receptionist to join our team. Duties will include : Accurately processes cash / checks and securities coming into and going out of the branch.

Accurately and efficiently processes Financial Advisor-directed orders for customer accounts. Also will be responsible for Receptionist duties and other administrative tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Book in cash / checks, issue receipts and accurately scan items to bank daily.
• Book in securities, issue receipts and accurately balance daily.
• Issue drafts and deliver securities to customers daily.
• Reconcile filled or unfilled orders and confirm.
• Process changes to accounts.
• Assist customers with inquiries.
• Act as Liaison to local transfer agents when appropriate.
• Answer incoming calls, take messages, forward calls, and schedule appointments
• Greet clients / guests, escort them to their destinations
• File and maintain records
• May assume other various clerical duties (i.e., typing, filing, and record-retention) as time permits.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

Education & Experience

• Minimum Required : High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Required : 1 years industry related / wire or cashiering experience

Systems & Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience with BETA terminal

Salary - 25$ an hour
