Job Summary

As the Recruiting Coordinator at Stewart & Co., you will have an opportunity to be a valued asset by the Firm’s leadership team by managing all externship, internship, entry-level and experienced-hire recruiting initiatives. You will excel in this role if you:

  • Enjoy developing relationships with experienced-hire candidates, other 3rd party recruiting firms and professional accounting associations;
  • Seek to build and maintain relationships with universities; including faculty, administrators, students and school organizations;
  • Can successfully execute the Firm’s campus recruiting strategies to include activities such as on-campus presentations, career fairs, mock interviews and resume review workshops to hire intern, full-time staff accountants and consultants;
  • Enjoy identifying and facilitating recruiting events onsite, in the community and on campus;

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with Firm leadership to develop the Firm’s employment-value-proposition (EVP) to ensure Stewart & Co. is the “employer of choice” in the region;
  • Assist in developing and also supporting the Firm’s externship & internship programs;
  • Perform market research & advise Firm leadership on market conditions relative to competitor compensation, benefits & EVP messaging;
  • Lead the development and execution of recruiting strategy both for entry-level & experienced hire candidates;
  • Develop campus campaign strategies and recruitment action plans for multiple universities to include creating & monitoring recruitment budgets;
  • Coach and guide campus recruiting champions & campus teams to include debrief sessions for our campus campaigns;
  • Design & implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify talented candidates for each of our practice areas & operations teams
  • Manage communications with prospective team members through full lifecycle recruiting and on-boarding.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or other related field required
  • Two (2) years of experience recruiting within a professional services firm preferred
  • Stewart & Co. will consider an individual with assurance, tax or consulting experience looking to make a career change;
  • Proven relationship-building skills with 3rd parties include recruiting agencies, universities and professional associations;
  • Ability to attract and retain talent, and show others how to build effective relationships with candidates;
  • The ability to travel during spring & fall on-campus recruiting seasons;
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills; independent problem solver with good judgment and the ability to know when to escalate an issue to the leadership team;
  • Must be an independent, resourceful self-starter, and desire to participate in a dynamic team environment with high ethical standards and Core Values that mirror those of our firm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
