Our office is looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding team of Insurance professionals. We are currently seeking a full-time Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Elmira, NY office.

This person will help identify and pursue business opportunities with strategic targets and cultivate relationships with inbound and outbound prospects. With a hands-on approach across the full sales lifecycle, you’ll help clients across various sectors scale their business with our world-class services and solutions. You will respond to clients, insurance carriers, sales team and supervisors’ correspondence and requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner. In addition, you will research and present answers to client questions about their policies and coverage.

Job Responsibilities

• Process Endorsements and bill accounts.
• Create Sales Proposals by determining the best fit for the client.
• Understand clients’ needs and utilize problem-solving skills to create the most effective strategy for them.
• Perform Policy Reviews for accuracy.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate with clients in a professional manner.
• Will consider Personal Lines insurance experience with Captive agencies.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Preferred Skills

• License: Property & Casualty (NY or any state)
• Areas of Expertise: Personal Auto, Homeowners & Renters, Claims Reporting & Review, Flood / Wind / Hail, Habitational, Marketing Risks, Multi-lines Policies, Underwriting Guidelines, Motorcycles & ATVs, Manufactured Homes, Personal Liability / Personal Umbrella, Watercraft, Motor & Modular Homes
• Management & Rating Systems: EZLynx, EZLynx Rater
• Computer Skills: MS Outlook, Windows10
• Languages: English
