About Mountain Vista Medical Center

Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services.

Position Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing assistant care to patients and assists in maintenance of a clean work environment under the direction and supervision of the Department Director or Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of a patient; provide the care needed as described in the unit’s policies and procedures skills check lists. Honoring the diversity of everyone’s values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers. Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides appropriate care of the Med Surg patient.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• CNA/LNA valid in Arizona
• BLS

Preferred:

• 3 years’ experience
