**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to join our team at Stevens Center. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our participants through engaging and fulfilling activities and have a passion for working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. IDD experience preferred but not required.

**Duties:**

- Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of recreational activities for participants

- Develop and implement programs tailored to participants' interests and abilities

- Coordinate outings, events, and social gatherings within the community

- Provide support and assistance to participants during activities

- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and preferences

**Skills:**

- Experience in schedule management for group activities

- Experience working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

- Proficiency in event planning and execution

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with participants, families, and staff

- Familiarity with recreational therapy principles

- The ability to cultivate relationships with local businesses and stakeholders to engage the community in our work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
