Steven Winter Associates, Inc. is Hiring a Proposal and Marketing Coordinator Near Norwalk, CT

About the Role: Steven Winter Associates, Inc. (SWA) is seeking a Proposal & Marketing Coordinator to join our Accessibility Services team within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) space. This role will be responsible for supporting the marketing and business development efforts by providing administrative support to the team and coordinating and preparing proposals, presentations, and other materials. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail in a collaborative environment. **As part of the application process, a writing sample may be required.

The proposed annual salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000 based on a 40-hour work schedule. The final salary will vary depending on confirmed job-related skills and experience.

Proposal and Marketing Coordinator Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Function as a central hub and contact for proposal requests.
  2. Collaborate with team to develop and coordinate proposals, presentations and work with Marketing team to create other marketing collateral.
  3. Create, maintain, prepare qualifications.
  4. Coordinate with Contracts team, as necessary.
  5. Write project descriptions and other aspects of proposal responses, as needed.
  6. Actively seek out and monitor RFP sites and other websites for opportunities.
  7. Maintain and update proposal templates, descriptions and other marketing collateral.
  8. Enter quotes, opportunities and project requests into Dynamics, CRM.
  9. Assist with research to support business development initiatives.
  10. Provide administrative support and organization for the team, as required.

Proposal and Marketing Coordinator Qualifications: Below is a list of the minimum requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business, or equivalent experience in a related field or in the architectural, engineering and construction space.
  • 2-5 years in marketing, proposal coordination, or business development within the AEC industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of RFPs/proposals in AEC space.
  • Familiarity with various types of proposal responses including RFPs, corporate templates, AE Forms, and SF330.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience using graphics software.

Proposal and Marketing Coordinator Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dynamics CRM.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to read architectural drawing sets.

Travel Required: No overnight travel is anticipated for this position. Some occasional local day travel may be necessary.

Working Environment: During initial onboarding, this position will be required to be in-office. Once fully onboarded, this position will be considered hybrid with 3 days per week in our New York, NY or Norwalk, CT offices and 2 days working remotely.
