The Service Valet Lead plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer experience and assisting with creating a smooth operation within the service department of the dealership. This individual is responsible for leading a team to providing a seamless experience for customers dropping off and picking up their vehicles for service appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the dealership for service appointments. Provide professional and courteous assistance throughout the vehicle drop-off and pick-up process.
2. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles upon arrival to identify any pre-existing damage or issues. Document and communicate findings to service advisors as needed.
3. Vehicle Movement: Safely operate customer vehicles within the dealership premises, including parking, relocating, and retrieving vehicles as needed. Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations to prevent accidents or damage to vehicles.
4. Service Coordination: Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow.
5. Customer Satisfaction: Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing personalized service and addressing any concerns or feedback. Ensure customers feel valued and appreciated throughout their service experience.
6. Assist with team schedule to ensure coverage in Service Drive.
7. Provide direction and leadership to valet/porters.
8. Train all new hires in the valet/porter position.
