Steubenville Catholic Schools is looking for a Dean of Discipline for the 2024-2045 school year. This position will serve grades 6-12 at the jr. high and high school.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• In charge of ensuring that the Attendance Policy, Code of Conduct and all discipline matters are followed.
• Investigate, adjudicate, and monitor infractions of the school code of conduct in the form of progressive disciplines such as demerits, detentions, in-school suspension, out of school suspensions, and expulsions for both CCHS and BJKM (after discussions with the principal and superintendent).
• Distribution of chromebooks and maintenance 6-12 administration of tech accounts.
• Administrator of GoGuardian For both JR HS.
• Issuing log on information.
• Monitoring the Safer Watch system.
• Training the teachers regarding the use of the app and the lanyard button to notify 911 in case of emergency.
• Communication with parents regarding attendance and behavior infractions.
• Circulate and monitor both high school and junior high lunches. This includes both inside and outside.
• Oversee student arrival and dismissal to the school.
• Communicate with students' families when necessary to keep families informed of any observed changes in student's conduct or behavior.
• Monitor and review cameras to make sure students are in class and in the correct areas of the building.
• Daily monitoring of student attendance.
• Plan and participate in parent meetings, for both CCHS and BJKM, for both attendance and disciplinary issues.
• Teach 7th grade gym (7th period on Mondays)
• Substitute classes (6-12 as needed)

Must pass FBI/BCI background check.

Required: two (2) letters of recommendation, cover letter and resume.

Salary commensurate with degree and experience.
