Job Description: PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Baytown, Texas

We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients
• Provide therapy services to patients, including exercises, activities of daily living, and other interventions as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Document patient progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist regarding patient status
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding therapy services

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Texas
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work PRN hours as needed
