Per-Diem opportunity for LVN Home Health

Expectations and Duties:

You will be responsible for providing home health visits to various patients in their homes and conducting follow-up visits. Training and benefits are available.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/LVN:

As a professional member of the healthcare team, the LVN provides skilled nursing care and prescribed medical treatment to patients in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act in the State of California. The LVN works under the direction of the supervising Nurse Practitioner or Physician.

Other duties may include:

• Providing nursing care within the scope of LVN practice
• Gathering relevant data on patient's individual needs
• Assisting the RN in patient and family education
• Providing basic medical care, such as changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens
• Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient's condition to supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must have at least one year of active clinical experience
• Active LVN license in California
• Active driver's license with a clean DMV record
