We are seeking a detail-oriented physical therapy assistant to assist physical therapists during their sessions. The primary responsibilities of the physical therapy assistant include providing massages to patients, maintaining cleanliness in treatment areas, and preparing therapy equipment.

Description :

The physical therapy assistant supports patients in achieving their treatment goals by administering manual physical exercises, guiding and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, facilitating functional activities and daily living tasks, and providing supportive care.

The PTA will also assess and interpret evaluations and test results, collaborate with physicians to develop physical therapy treatment plans, and accurately document patient care services in compliance with legal and professional requirements.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Conducting follow-up visits for orthopedic home health patients
• Continuously meeting requirements for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Traveling is a requirement

Qualifications :

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

Current California state licensure is mandatory

At least 1 year of experience as a physical therapy assistant in a home health setting

Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
