Cedar Rapids, IA Eddyville, IA Blair, NE Dayton, OH Hammond, IN As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will utilize your technical expertise to drive continuous improvement in asset reliability by identifying and resolving defects.

You will also perform repair and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance, while actively engaging in the installation of new equipment.

In collaboration with the team, your responsibilities will encompass part replacement, advanced troubleshooting, and preventive / predictive maintenance, ensuring proper equipment configuration and setup.

IDEAL CANDIDATE BS degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering with 1-2 years of manufacturing environment experience.

Proficient understanding of equipment operation, mechanical component design, and equipment breakdown in order to troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventive maintenance on various industrial machinery including seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers, and material handling equipment.

SAP experience is preferred. Relevant experience in food manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, chemical manufacturing, or military background is considered.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of related work experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge in maintenance process management Background in rotating equipment, seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers, and material handling equipment.

Experience creating complex tests and analysis. Experience with predictive maintenance technologies. Experience with SAP.
