We are searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in Hospice care to provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services for patients in La Pine, OR.

The primary responsibility of the CNA is to maintain a safe and healthy environment while enhancing the patient's daily life, wellness, and dignity.

CNAs play a crucial role in the patient's care, providing assistance with various personal care issues such as : Feeding the patient Assisting the patient with grooming and toileting Bathing the patient Turning the bedbound patient Changing the patient's linens Keeping the patient's living space clean Assisting with the set-up of medical equipment Stocking medical supplies

Other Responsibilities :

• Providing support services to patients in their home under the supervision of the Hospice RN
• Assisting the patient in achieving physical and emotional comfort as outlined in the Plan of Care
• Assisting with therapeutic exercise, light household tasks, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Recognizing and reporting changes in the patient's condition to the RN

Requirements :

• Must be a certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• High School graduate or possess a GED
• Must have a personal vehicle with proof of insurance and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work with compassion and empathy towards terminally ill patients
