A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Testing equipment in accordance with specifications, work instructions, and sales order requirements.
• Ensure form, fit, and function of equipment is as designed
• Interpret inspection plans, complete test documents, and controller programs
• Adheres to all company procedures, rules and regulations e.g. safety & 5s procedures
• Complete assignments in accordance with production schedule and manufacturing standards
• Other duties as assigned
• Completes required paperwork e.g. timecards, quality documents, test records, quality documents, standard-work, etc.
• Follows written and verbal instructions and assignments
• Adheres to all company procedures, rules and regulations e.g. safety & 5s procedures
• Effectively test a variety of products that range from standardized design and function to non-standard products.
• Work requires basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, technique and ability to operate machinery, equipment, and computer terminals
• Use required measuring and gauging devices
• Contribute to team effort and effectiveness
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 years of mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshooting experience preferable and/or demonstrated ability, aptitude/proficiency
• Equipment testing experience desirable
• Pass skills test
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of parts
• Adept in basic critical thinking, problem solving and spatial reasoning
• Familiar with the use of various hand/power tools
• Good organizational skills
• Basic math skills
• Detail oriented
