JOB TITLE: Clinical Staff

SUPERVISOR: Clinic Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

Sterling Medical is seeking multitasking clinical staff capable of delivering quality care to diverse patients in urgent care settings. Under the supervision of onsite providers, you will provide direct and indirect professional patient care with initiative, flexibility, and responsibility.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care.

  • Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.

  • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.

  • Perform various clinical responsibilities, including inventory/ordering, laboratory assays, reception, and radiographic studies.

  • Work under direct supervision to ensure excellent patient care. in Urgent Care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.

  • Manage and document patient encounters accurately.

  • Perform waived testing and interpret results.

  • Administer medications based on age and clinical condition.

  • Assist with procedures and provide technical services.

  • Maintain patient safety and follow established protocols.

  • Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary patient care.

  • Communicate effectively with clinic manager, co-workers, and physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum one year of clinical setting experience.

  • Radiology and Phlebotomy/IV certification preferred.

  • BLS certification required.

  • CNA, CMA, EMT, LPN, and/or ARRT certifications preferred

  • Computer literate.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive.

  • Customer service-oriented with additional languages preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mobility, standing, and lifting capabilities.

  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

  • Vision and hearing abilities.

  • Ergonomics and physical endurance for a fast-paced environment.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Solid communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.

  • Ability to manage stress and show empathy in challenging situations.

  • Flexibility to handle healthcare work hours.
