Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, is searching for a "forward-thinking" Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) who has the ability to manage the overall operations of our beautiful facility!

We are searching for someone who is dedicated to delivering quality clinical care to our residents as well as a providing a great place for our staff to work.

Position Summary: The Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) is responsible for ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is being provided to our residents while managing the daily financial operations of the business.

Position Description for Nursing Home Administrator (NHA):

  • Plans, develops, organizes, and directs the facility’s daily operations.
  • Makes routine inspections of the facility and assures that established policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Represents the facility in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third-party payers.
  • Maintains an effective and timely communication with residents, families and staff.
  • Reviews and develops a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections.
  • Manages an excellent public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike.
  • Maintains an excellent working relationship with the medical profession and other healthcare related facilities and organizations.

Education and Qualifications for the Nursing Home Administrator (NHA):

  • Bachelor's degree (health care or business administration preferred)
  • Must be a Pennsylvania Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Three (3) years experience managing a nursing facility/long-term care required
  • Experience working in a high volume admissions environment is preferred.
