Job Summary :

The Controls Technician 3 plays a pivotal role in maintaining the electrical and control systems vital to our food manufacturing operations.

They are responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, troubleshooting issues, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Job Duties :

  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on food processing equipment, ensuring optimal functionality
  • Uphold stringent compliance with safety protocols and quality standards, including adherence to company policies on allergens, food defense, and HACCP.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, ensuring records are up-to-date and comprehensive.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to sustain production schedules and address any equipment-related challenges promptly and effectively.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for efficient work order management and documentation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical troubleshooting, with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and HMI operations.
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is preferred, highlighting a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Formal training in electrical or electronic engineering technology is essential, with additional mechanical or plumbing expertise considered advantageous.
