The CAD Specialist verifies, updates, revises, and modifies mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural drawings and diagrams.

The CAD Specialist operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) system (AutoCAD) to create or update drawings. Process Drawing related activities :

• Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner. Follow Sterigenics Health and Safety procedure and requirements
• Create new and revise existing CAD drawings per redlines and Corporate Engineering standards and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
• Complete drawing updates resulting from field-verified redline drawings
• Copy or Scan "hard copy" drawings from older project files and label / file as needed
• Review, verify, and update mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings
• Assist Project Engineers and Managers with development of new P&ID drawings as needed
• Check each drawing file to ensure the most current drawing is available
• Archive superseded drawing revisions and move to facility archive folders
• Update Intranet based plant installed equipment summary files
• Manage library of electronic drawing files
• Assist with special projects as directed Qualifications :
• Minimum 5 years AutoCad experience
• Experienced in creating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) - 5 years minimum
• Competent working in both field and office environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• OSHA Process Safety Management knowledge a plus
• cGMP experience a plus
