Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our team. As a Teacher's Aide, you will assist the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for students. Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special education needs
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Support students in their learning activities and ensure their safety at all times
- Help with the preparation of materials and resources for lessons
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom space
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum planning and lesson implementation
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, including those with autism or special education needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional coursework or certification in early childhood education is a plus
