ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Sort all AP & Accounting Department incoming mail and processes AP mail
• Sorts paper invoices and batches for scanning into AP ECM system
• Imports electronic invoices emailed to AP into AP ECM system
• Process new vendor list from AP system and mail new vendor packets each week
• Process check and electronic payment batches from the AP system each day
• Distribute and mail physical checks, along with any required remittance information to each vendor
• Handle incoming vendor and employee inquiries regarding payments from the AP system
• Maintain database of employee vendor master files and update as necessary for new hires, terminations, and transfers
• Scan images into RMOL, checking for accuracy, completeness, and proper indexing
• Assist other AP positions during absences, vacations, and peak workload periods
• Order supplies and answer phones for Accounting Department
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Associate's degree
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
