The Concierge provides critical organizational support, working directly with distribution partners to help navigate and educate a wide range of inquiries. As part of the exceptional Concierge service team, this role acts as a single point of contact that supports dealer issues across all disciplines – sales, design, operations and technology. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties/Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact for our dealer partners to support inquiries and represent the SOAG brand experience.
  • Build and maintain broad knowledge on products, services, technology tools and resources while keeping pace with changes.
  • Communicate and translate technical, operational and product knowledge to customers.
  • Conducts project and order activities, processes, and provides services information as an experienced consultant to various customer segments.
  • Executes independent judgment and research in development of solutions to meet customer satisfaction while minimizing business risk and maximizing dealer success. Escalates issues as necessary.
  • Leverages technology platforms to perform daily functions.
  • Maintains accurate record of daily communications, ongoing issues, and resolutions taken.
  • Maintains high dependability and creative problem solving to support daily dealer and team needs. Bring clarity and resolution in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams resolve dealer inquiries in real time and to learn, inform and advance existing process and management.
  • Answers the telephone, takes accurate messages and ensures delivery of message to appropriate person.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly waiting area, lobby, and showroom while ensuring all snacks, pamphlets, and additional materials are stocked for customers.
  • As part of the SOAG and Subaru experience, studies the ins and outs of Subaru models to provide detailed explanations of how features work for service customers, performing demonstrations and tutorials for customers.
  • Writes thank-you cards to customers.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Has a friendly demeanor and outgoing, customer service forward attitude
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must have the ability to sit for long hours while working from a desktop computer, phone system, and various dealership specific software.
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting customers and walking the lot.
  • Must have ample dexterity to bend, reach, stretch, sit, stand, type, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Experience in customer service roles required.
  • Experience in the automotive industry highly preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
