Step By Step Child Care is hiring an engaging, nurturing and motivated Credentialed Center Director! An ideal candidate would have experience operating a child care center, foster a positive community and model excellent leadership skills. All full time positions include health and dental benefits as well as paid time off, and tuition assistance for continuing education. Compensation is based on credentials and experience in the the child care field.

Responsibilities include;

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, fostering positive relationships with families and staff.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for students and fellow staff members.
• Manage staffing including interviewing, training, and managing staff files for state requirements.
• Communicate positively and respectfully to students, parents, and fellow staff members.
• Participate in trainings and meetings provided by the center to further professional growth and maintain the overall well-being of the center environment
• **Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• Assist in housekeeping that keeps the school physically well kept, attractive and safe.

Employees are expected to have up to date Criminal, FBI, and Child Abuse and NSOR Clearances as well as a Health physical with TB testing.
