Candidates must be able to multitask juggle multiple projects at once and prioritize daily and weekly projects. They will have exceptional organization skills and be able to work well with others and give direction. The person in this role must be able to create new looks and have a real grasp of different design styles. Experience with floor plans and proper layouts are highly desirable. Improving current processes , producing timely completion of staging jobs and preventing and solving onsite staging issues are also part of the job.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the company's mission with creative ideas, brainstorming, and problem solving.
  • Help staff handle daily challenges and dilemmas that arise, demonstrate quick thinking
  • Effectively troubleshoot all issues with a timely resolution.
  • Work to determine new and efficient operations to improve current systems and packages,
  • Contribute positively to the company’s culture by embodying the values of being a self-starter responsible, respectful, professional and passionate about their work.

Direct Operational Requirements

  • Conduct onsite walkthroughs on various properties in DC, MD and VA.
  • Create effective and accurate floor plans or understand layouts
  • Manage prepping and packing of staging packages
  • Restock décor, bedding and art while also keeping these items organized in the warehouse
  • Monitor and replace low inventory
  • Keep a running log of damaged décor and items that need repair
  • Must be able to build new design looks
  • Able to assist installers with questions onsite concerning lockboxes and any other onsite issues
  • Manage package tracker
  • Oversee the movers on the timely and correct loading of packages in the morning
  • Ensure pre-stage and post-stage walk throughs occur and photo documentation of pre-existing damages/regular wear and tear in older homes are noted, documented, and relayed to managers.
  • Ensure drivers and teams are working together by ensuring that the furniture, art and décor are placed effectively and appropriately, the correct pieces are brought on site or removed.
  • Direct review of the sales orders with furniture inventory is required at warehouse pulling, warehouse loading and property staging and de-staging.
  • Able to travel to multiple locations in DC, MD and Northern VA

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects.
  • Ability to operate quickly in high-pressure situations.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with little supervision needed
  • Attention to detail is vital
