- What is your experience on Oracle Database and Application infrastructure? BOTH ARE MANDATORY
- What is your experience in System Administration UNIX, Networking, Storage and Backup?
- Have you held a role as Service Delivery Manager?
- If not local to Pittsburg, are you willing to relocate?
- Are you open to a perm offer after 5-6 Months of contract work?
- Assist in managing the Oracle Tech ULA aligned to processor counts.
- Coordinate and author Disaster Recovery documentation and later DR testing.
- Coordinate patching and other environment maintenance of both Oracle software and Server OS and hardware.
- Determine impact of non-Oracle infrastructure maintenance on Oracle systems and applications.
- Working knowledge of Oracle software and system architecture (including EBS 11i, R12, ASCP, Demantra, Active Data Guard) deployed in a way that supports a 24/7 manufacturing business model worldwide.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and concepts.
- Working knowledge of supporting infrastructure technology such as Red Hat/Oracle Linux, Storage, Backup and Recovery (RMAN, Filesystem), Load Balancing, DNS, Firewalls, FTP, SSL Certificates, Telnet/SSH, Java in Edge/IE.
- Process Flows
- Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
- Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility.
- Participate in data conversion and data maintenance.
- Provide best practice and industry specific solutions.
- Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions.
- Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
- Participate as a team member of the functional team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
