Job Description
Night Shift - 5:45 pm to 6:00 am. This is a 12 hour rotating shift.
Extrusion Department Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Extrusion Department Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team and ensuring that the shift maintains a high level of productivity while meeting quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating with other shifts and departments to provide top-quality products to our customers. If you are a motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, we would like to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspect production consistently to ensure products are manufactured according to job specifications; take corrective action to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with other shifts and departments to deliver high-quality products to customers.
- Maintain accurate production and quality control records on a daily basis.
- Supervise all shift production employees and equipment in the facility.
- Maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents and injuries actively.
- Perform administrative duties such as associate counseling forms, vacation requests, and performance reviews.
Requirements and Skills:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective analysis and interpretation abilities to maximize productivity and minimize scrap.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Email applications.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
