STEM Builders Learning Center ( Plymouth & Eden Prairie, MN) is looking for a STEM Camp Coordinator/Tutor. Responsibilities

STEM Builders Learning Center, MN is looking for a STEM Camp Coordinator/Tutor. If you are a College Student, STEM teacher, or have experience teaching STEM for kids grades k-12 such as coding, robotics & engineering, or willing to get trained and learn, this is a great summer job opportunity for you.

This person would be responsible for Assisting/Managing the execution of STEM camps at the Plymouth location and also teaching if required.

Responsibilities

STEM Camp Coordinator/ STEM Teacher:

• Making sure location is clean before and after the camp.
• Check-in/Check-out camps students.
• Communicate with parents as needed.
• Daily reporting to the Manager/Director.
• Understand the camps and camp requirements.
• Ensure all required STEM equipment is ready for the classes. (Audio/Video etc.,)
• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner.
• Provide personalized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning

Skills

• Knowledge of STEM ( Math and Coding ) required
• STEM teaching experience is a plus
• Python, Mobile app development, web design, and JAVA Coding knowledge are a plus
• Well-organized and committed
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline
• Education in computer science background or experience in teaching

Qualifications

• Ability to work with students Ages 6-15.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred prior experience working as a teacher or managing camps.
• Highly preferred tutoring/education experience.
• Experience in teaching/working in STEM is a plus.
• Experience managing small teams is a plus.
• Highly preferred programming or coding experience.
