Stellar Solutions has an immediate opening at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, for a SIGINT Data Quality Engineer to work on the Engineering Evaluation Team in the site's Operations directorate.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

You’ll be a contributing member to a team of engineers and technicians designing and producing mechanical systems solving critical national security problems in a fast-paced environment. Role and Responsibilities: As a SIGINT Data Quality Engineer you will work with a team that:

• Plans, coordinates, monitors and reports the results of real/near real time operational thread performance in support of detection of operational corruption events
• Develops trend data for detection of more subtle issues, and provides daily assurance of the site operational baseline
• Conducts first level analysis of architecture health check results and determines root cause of any degradations or corruption events
• Supports notifications to the government and associated support personnel of any degradation or observed infrastructure issue and potential cause of the degradation
• As required, at a minimum, create such things as discrepancy reports and trouble tickets, track through resolution, and verify the fix was satisfactory
• Perform ad hoc engineering evaluation test activities which may be scheduled, as required, to support resolution of system performance issues or to optimize system performance or as directed by the government
• Provide written test reports and briefings of test results to the responsible government and additional stakeholders as requested.
• Provide archive of test results, reports and trending metrics
• Recommend system changes that increase performance for operational gains
• Conduct analysis of data and test results which may entail minor prototyping/coding, script writing, etc
• Coordinate and collaborate as required across sites and test ranges to accomplish this engineering evaluation mission

Required Education/Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related discipline
• With 5 years experience in a STEM related field

Desired Education/Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in STEM field
• With minimum three years experience in a STEM related field
• Coding capability in C
• Coding capability in Python

Security Clearance & Other Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Current TS/SCI security clearance and CI or Full Scope Polygraph within past 10 years required to be considered
• Role is 100% onsite at customer location

The typical pay range for this position is USD $120,000 - $160,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).

Deliverable(s)

Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using NRO and/or government approved, issued, and/or mandated systems & software, and processes governed by the customer’s policies and instructions. These will include reporting on development of data assessment technologies, periodic assessment reports, and long term trending studies. The nature of this work will, at times, require a quick response to stringent deadlines and will always require a standard high quality and professional deliverable.
