POSITION OVERVIEW

The assistant manager will assist the property manager in effectively managing the property. In the absence of the property manager, the assistant manager should be able to perform basic duties of the property manager.

The following are requirements of this position:

• Billingual
• Yardi Experience
• Customer service experience
• Reliable transportation

Qualified candidates must effectively:

• Interact professionally and respectfully with owners, corporate staff, venders, subcontractors and onsite staff.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude to residents and prospects.
• Show the model and/or available ready vacancies.
• Verify application data.
• Responsible for monies received as deposits, rents and application fees.
• Receive, record and assign maintenance requests.
• Maintain traffic reports and complete weekly reports.
• Be knowledgeable of competitive communities rent levels and amenities.
• Assist in maintaining accurate resident records
• Keep manager informed of changes in the area which may affect occupancy, rent levels, marketing and the physical needs of the apartment community.
• Any other duties as outlined by the manager and/or supervisor
