Stellar Care is Hiring a Medication Technician (Med-tech) Near San Diego, CA

Stellar Care is one of the largest memory care communities in San Diego, serving our older adults since 2008. We are a family owned and operated facility and aim to promote wellness in our residents, with dignity and respect.

We have a full-time position available for a med-tech. In this role, we are hoping to hire a compassionate, caring and patient individual. Experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care are ideal, with a passion for assisting older adults. Prior experience as a med-tech is preferred.

Our med-techs assist residents with their daily medications and assist in monitoring the residents' status and well-being. They also communicate with healthcare professionals and families, including when seeking out medical attention for a resident. Positive, kind communication is necessary. Med-techs play a vital role in our team so that we can all work together to provide the best care possible to each resident.

As we serve our residents 24/7, this position requires working weekends.

Qualified candidates must be:
--- dependable, flexible, and have a sense of humor
--- able to work as a team and follow directions
--- at least 18 years of age
--- have a high school diploma/GED
--- M.A., Phlebotomy, and/or experience as a medication technician is preferred

Successful clearance of a criminal background check and pre-employment physical (including TB test and drug screening) is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
