Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning/Buyer with negotiation experience to join our team at Stellar Blu Solutions, an aerospace manufacturer in Texas. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to support production while adhering to cost, quality and delivery performance requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, sourcing and procurement in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and execute material and service procurement plans in accordance with production requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, delivery, quality, and technical capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Manage the delivery performance of suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues related to procurement, quality and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management and sourcing in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures and contracts.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
