We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineering Team Lead for Gateway Project GRAIL to join our team. Responsibilities: * The Systems Engineering Team Lead will be managing the SE activities of the Gateway Program GRAIL Laboratory
* Support engineering flight project schedule, procurement documentation, budget and system requirements documents
* Develop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification/validation, operations, and sustaining engineering
* Conduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activities
* Work with requirements to align with hardware specifications while understanding the verifications
* Perform system engineering functions of projects and provide user input feedback during the design process
* Work with ground testing and flight operations testing of hardware with end item documentation
* Review verification and validation reports to verify compliance with requirements
* Participate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews
* Perform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performance
* Participate in test, verification, and operation of the as-built hardware
* Work with team members and leads to identify risks, develop risk statements, and plan risk responses
* Work and present schedule and progress to customers
* Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
* Perform other duties as required Requisition Qualifications: * Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5 - 10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.
* 10 years' of relevant experience in systems engineering
* Knowledge and understanding of SE&I processes, methodologies, tools and technologies including model based systems engineering
* Knowledge of test principles, tools, and processes needed to develop test requirements
* Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection
* Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
* Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
* Experience working in a team environment Requisition Preferences: * Knowledge of Flight Hardware and/or Flight Processes/Paperwork
* Experience with NASA processes
