We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Power Supply Technician to support the Electric Propulsion product line at our Torrance, California location.
In this full-time hourly position you will set up and operate specialized and commercial test equipment, computers and related equipment to perform manual and automated performance and environmental tests on power supplies and power-related units used for satellite propulsion. You will also troubleshoot hardware and equipment to the component level through activities ranging from minor unit manipulations through complete tear-downs, select resistors for installation, and conduct wire and component checks. In addition, you will provide test anomaly reports when necessary and perform test data management activities including data collection, evaluation, and documentation. You'll be called upon to assist engineering staff members in the design, procurement, build and check-out of unit test equipment, testing and evaluation of software, and review of test procedures.
