Steer N Stein in Des Moines, IA is looking for some grill and fry cooks to join our team. We are located on 3212 E Grand Avenue. This position is for the Good Guys Car Show July 5th-8th and the Iowa State Fair August 7th-18th 2024. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and accurate processing of food in your station
• Regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment and utensils used
• Maintain health and safety standards to regulations
• Coordinate with other team members to complete orders timely and accurately

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of equipment used
• Ability to communicate and listen effectively
• Food handling certifications that apply
• Previous experience in a cook position a plus

Shifts Available

Morning- 5:30am-10:30am

Afternoon- 10:30am-3:30pm

Evening- 3:30pm-10:00pm
