Successful candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance. Therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Government customers regarding systems engineering and integration expertise in defining and developing mission, organizational, physical, functional, signal, hardware/software, and operational interfaces
• Conduct test and integration assistance on the programs
• Provide high-level test planning, test design and test execution to define integrated test strategies that align operationally realistic testing with system performance testing
• Troubleshoot and support with the requirements for engineering models, simulations, test beds, and special test equipment for all organizations involved with system testing
• Provide direct support to programs and offer recommendation and assessments of Test and Evaluation Plans to decrease coordination timelines and mitigate risks of test rejections
• Establish verifiable requirements for systems and platforms to ensure the appropriate use of test as a verification and validation technique
• Demonstrate appropriate verification and validation of both interface and transition requirements are planned and executed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science and technology related program such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines, etc
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship

Preferred

• Ability to apply technical and organizational skills to help Customers achieve their mission goals
• Desire to forge strong relationships with Customers to jointly achieve successful outcomes
• Experience working with aerospace platforms
• Familiarity in one of the following: LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C , PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, XML
• Understanding of software / hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with MS Office
• Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with public speaking skills
• Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy
• Location: Washington Metropolitan Area with ability to travel to customer sites across the region
• Potential for 10% travel beyond the WMA
