What it's like to be a Production Associate - Level 1

As a Full Time Production Associate -Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve using job sheets to select raw materials, loading and unloading molds, and operating a rubber press.

You will prep raw materials by drilling holes into extrusions and inserting clips, as well as trimming and finishing parts to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Conducting regular quality control checks, recording production data accurately, and following safety standards by using proper PPE will be key responsibilities in this role.

Requirements for this Production Associate i- Level 1 job

To excel as a Full-Time Production Associate I-Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products, you will need a variety of skills and abilities.

Proficiency in using simple tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, pry bars, scales, or rulers is essential for this role.

You must be able to calculate numbers, work with units of weight measurement and volume, and follow instructions effectively, whether written, oral, or in diagram format.

Attention to detail is a must, as you will need to read and adhere to safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.

Physical capabilities, including the ability to work with hands, lift or move up to 50 pounds, and stand for 6-8 hours per day, are also necessary.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required to successfully perform the responsibilities of this position.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :
