Overview

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the facility. Works closely with the department Mechanical / Electrical Engineers, Maintenance Coordinators, Millwrights, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the department production goals.

Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist millwrights with preventative maintenance, rounds, and breakdowns.
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair
• React to emergency breakdowns

Qualifications

Required :

• Previous mechanical maintenance experience, 2 years minimum
• Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, and blueprint reading

Preferred :

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, grease systems, gear / shaft alignment, rigging, bearings, couplings
• Proficient in comprehending hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Autocad
